Merrivale Model Village

🍂 That's a wrap for another season at Merrivale Model Village!

As we close the gates on our 2026 season, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has visited and supported us throughout the year.

It's been another fantastic season, and we're incredibly grateful to all our visitors, both familiar faces who return year after year and those discovering Merrivale for the very first time.

A special thank you goes to our wonderful team of staff who work so hard behind the scenes to keep the gardens looking beautiful, the attractions running and everything ticking along. We couldn't do it without you!

Although the Model Village is now closed for the winter, things certainly won't be slowing down behind the gates. We've got plenty of exciting renovations, improvements and new projects planned over the coming months, all ready to make Merrivale even better for the 2027 season. We can't wait to share our progress with you!

☕ And don't forget, Merrivale Tea Room is staying OPEN throughout the winter! Join us every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for freshly prepared food, warming winter favourites, homemade cakes and a good cup of coffee.

Thank you once again for making 2026 such a memorable year. Your continued support means so much to us, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the gardens in spring.

From all of us at Merrivale, thank you and see you in 2027! ❤️

🌹 Remembrance Sunday at Merrivale

A little something from us, to say thank you.

This Remembrance Day, we'd like to show our appreciation to those who have served and continue to serve our country.

We're inviting all veterans and serving members of the Armed Forces to join us at Merrivale Tearooms for a complimentary tea or coffee and a slice of cake, on us.

It's a small gesture of our gratitude for the service, dedication and sacrifices made by so many.

At 11am, we'll also observe a two-minute silence to remember those who gave their lives.

📍 Merrivale Tearooms, Great Yarmouth
📅 Sunday 8th November

Lest We Forget. 🌹

We’re proud to be supporting the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal at Merrivale Tearooms ❤️

Our poppies and collection box are now at the till. If you’re popping in for a coffee or lunch, please consider picking up a poppy and making a donation to support our Armed Forces community.

A little kindness makes a difference. Thank you for your support.

Lest We Forget 🌹
