Beep Beep! It’s Thursday and so that means it’s time for another session down at the Old Farm Bus! ❤️

Located down in Marehay, The Old Farm Bus is a creative youth space for young people aged between 11 - 18, and sessions are ✨FREE✨ for young people within the Ripley Township thanks to funding from Ripley Town Council.

🗑 Small Changes - Big Impact - New Bins on Ripley Greenway 🗑

It's been a while since we have done a 'Small Changes - Big Impact' update, but we are back with an update from our Grounds Maintenance Operative, Kev - who has been busy installing some new bins along Ripley Greenway! 🌳

We received feedback from the community and from the 'Friends of Ripley Greenway' that the bins had become neglected, rusted and some broken. 🏚

Ripley Town Council is responsible for a small number of bins across the Ripley Township which includes those on Ripley Greenway.

Kev soon set to work and replaced some of the damaged bins, and whilst the task certainly took a while, with the magic of video editing, you can see how the project unfolded in just 20 seconds! ⤵

🎃 Marehay Pumpkin Trail 2026 🎃

One thing we love here at Ripley Town Council is the individual communities that make up the Ripley Township and with Halloween less than a week away, now is the perfect time to remind you all of the fantastic community led 'Marehay Pumpkin Trail' 🎃

🧡Every year volunteers get together in Marehay, to bring the spooky and cooky vibes to Marehay with a fantastic display of carefully crafted pumpkins and plenty of creative Halloween displays and they welcome donations to the displays. 💜

For more information on how to get involved or how you can visit the Marehay Pumpkin Trail, you can visit the Facebook group:
