POOL PLANNED IMPROVEMENT WORKS – PUBLIC PRESENTATION

Over the last two years, the Parish Council — working closely with the pool team — has been exploring how best to future‑proof Hathersage Swimming Pool.

Join us on Thursday 29 October, 5pm–8pm at Hathersage Methodist Hall to see the draft architect plans for the proposed refurbishment.

These include:
• A refreshed reception area.
• Improved accessibility with a platform lift.
• A dedicated first aid room.
• New toilets.
• Enhanced staff welfare facilities.

The appointed architects will be in attendance, with refreshments available. You’ll have the chance to ask questions and share your views. Draft designs will also be displayed at the pool in due course.

We’ll also be sharing information about the Parish Council, as we’re looking for local residents who may be interested in joining.

Access: The Methodist Hall can be reached from Main Road or via the public footpath from Oddfellows Road car park.

Please note: Pool works are not expected to begin until autumn 2027.
