🎅🏼 Once again this year we are a drop off point for donations to KidsBank Chester ‘Christmas Wishlist’ - supporting children across Flintshire & Chester

🎁 If you wish to make a donation from their wish list please kindly drop it off at our Office and we will ensure it is delivered to them in early December

❤️ THANK YOU to our team who have already kindly gifted items and we will of course be donating items as a company too

🎄 It's 13 weeks until Christmas and at KidsBank, our preparations are well underway! We’re getting ready to support a large number of families — and we need your help. ❤️

Last year, together, we gifted an incredible 23,245 brand-new gifts to 2,179 children and their families! ✨That's 23, 245 moments of kindness, and we know we can do it again with you - our amazing KidsBank community.

🎁We've created a Christmas wishlist below, with some ideas of the gifts that would make a real difference to the families we support.

A great big thank you to Claire House for our beautiful medal 🥇

We received this in the post after completing the ‘60 mile September’.

60 mile September helps support local babies & children & young adults and families who rely on Claire House Children’s Hospice.

Collectively as a team we have raised an incredible £325. This exceeded our target of £200. Well done team 👏.

Are you ready for winter? ❄️

The colder months can be tough for people living with dementia – but with the right support and a little bit of forward planning, we can help our loved ones stay safe, warm, and independent.

Thanks to our partnership with the Gas Distribution Network, there are several ways to access financial and practical support before the cold weather sets in and things become more urgent.

If you care for someone with dementia, here are a few things you can do now to help make sure the winter is safe, comfortable and affordable:

Fit & test carbon monoxide alarms regularly.

Get your boiler serviced ahead of winter.

Call our Dementia Support Line for info on local grants for energy costs.

Close curtains at dusk and use draught excluders to keep warmth inside.

Set the thermostat and use timers – aiming for around 18–21°C.

Join the Priority Services Register – a free support service for people living with dementia.

We are still committed and doing our daily walks for our September walking challenge in aid of Claire House Children’s Hospice.

In work, on our break, on our day off or on holiday - it doesn’t matter to us, we’re still getting our miles in! 🚶🏼‍♀️ 🚶🏼‍♀️ 🚶🏼‍♀️

The challenge ends this Wednesday!!! We have raised £260 in sponsorship so far but would absolutely love to hit £300!
