We are an Infant School located in the heart of Hebden Bridge. Our children are 3-7 years old. Stubbings is part of a vibrant and creative community.

Stubbings Infant School is located on the hillside of Hebden Bridge, a former mill town in the heart of the Pennines. Built in 1878, the Grade II listed building has been well maintained and developed to create a warm, welcoming environment with lots of character. Children are valued as individuals and encouraged to be independent, creative and enthusiastic learners. The school has excellent relationships with the children and families and provides a safe caring environment where children are nurtured and challenged to achieve their best.

Phew! What a busy first two weeks of term! It was lovely to welcome all of our families into school after the summer holidays and all the new children are settling in well.
The pirate ship had a bit of a facelift over the holidays and is looking fabulous!
A reminder to families that currently the office closes at 11am on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.

Acorns class are learning about cold regions of the world. Yesterday they embarked on a Polar Expedition. They wrapped up in warm clothes and spent the morning exploring, spotting animals and enjoying hot chocolate around their camp fire.

Calder Food Support would like to thank all the families and children at our 3 schools for their generosity with the Reverse Advent Calendar. Together with a donation from a local business the team have been able to ensure all their service users have some special Christmas treats this week.
