Do you have any round Christmas baubles that you could donate to the yarnbombing group? We need some of different sizes, preferably some bigger ones too for a special bauble tree creation.

Any donations can be dropped to the Hub or the Town Hall. Many thanks! 🎄😊

The poppy display is up and ready for Higham Ferrers Town Council Remembrance Service on Sunday 8th November.
Thank you to our wonderful yarnbombing group who have done a fabulous job of creating and maintaining this amazing display. You make our Town look truly special.
Thank you also to community payback for help to clear the memorial area of leaves and to staff and Cllr Bert Jackson for helping to assemble the display.

Last night our lovely yarnbombing group met at the Town Hall so that they could spread out the netting and finish off repairs ready for the poppy display to be assembled next week.
We look forward to sharing photos of the completed display in time for the towns Remembrance service.

Have your children entered our Mayor’s Christmas Card Design Competition? 🎨🎄 We’re encouraging local primary school aged children to get creative and design a special Christmas card for Higham Ferrers Mayor, Cllr Chris O’Rourke! 🎅✨

The Mayor will choose his favourite design to feature on his official Christmas card for 2026, and the winning artwork will also have a special place on the Town Christmas Tree surround for the community to enjoy! 🌟

Whether they love drawing Christmas trees, snowmen, festive scenes or something that celebrates our town, we’d love to see their imagination shine. This is a fantastic opportunity for young people in Higham Ferrers to showcase their creativity and be part of our town’s Christmas celebrations! 🎄 We can’t wait to see all those festive masterpieces!
