Highbridge Area Foodbank

04/08/2026

Our foodbank offers toiletries and cleaning products when we can. Right now we are almost completely out of Period Products - pads & tampons only please, not incontinence wear- can you help?
Donations can be dropped off at the Methodist Church BOS on a Tues or Sat morning or donations can be bagged & left in the supermarket collections baskets in Tesco, Lidl & Asda.
Thank you 💚

Do you shop at Tescos In BOS?
Until the end of August our foodbank has a stand (currently facing the till area - it does move!!) of pre-packed donation bags containing much needed items. Plenty of bags are priced under £2.
If you're able to buy a bag or two your donation will go directly into emergency food parcels supporting people in our local area. At the moment we are spending in excess of £1,500 a month topping up our shelves so your help is much appreciated Thank you💚

A HUGE thank you to for their wonderful Easter Egg donation, a lovely Easter treat for our clients. 💚🐣💚

Thank you for your kind words.
Don't forget our Foodbank can also help those referred to us with toiletries, sanitary wear, household cleaning products, cat & dog food, nappies. Also we provide a brilliant free 'financial inclusion' service which has already helped many of our clients improve income, reduce outgoings, budget, manage debt & anything else that might impact your financial wellbeing. 💚

We were delighted to chat to a very happy Mum of two earlier this week who recently received a food parcel from Burnham-on-Sea Trussell Trust. 💚 This family attends our free Early Years Explorers group at Morland Hub in Highbridge every Thursday (9am-10.30am) and it's wonderful to see such strong support available all across the Burnham community.

In need of a warm coat? - why not check out the coats available in our local library. All free

🥶As the weather gets colder, you or someone you know might need a warm coat. Our library coat bank is here to help!

🥶Thanks to the generosity of , we have a fantastic selection of children’s and teen-sized coats available - and there are still plenty of adult coats available too.

🥶Just pop into the library and pick one up from the foyer—no need to ask, no questions, just take what you need.

🥶Thanks to everyone's generosity, the library is fully stocked right now so we are unable to take any more donations at present. We will post again when we are able to accept more.

That was quite a morning. Our amazing volunteers packed 780 kilos of food into food parcels and sorted another 240 kilos into storage before they headed home to their own Christmas preparations. Superstars!!
We'll be back to do it all again on Saturday when foodbank will be open 10-12 o'clock at the Methodist Church in Burnham 💚
