Donate to Hertfordshire Libraries

It’s now easy to donate online to the library service by visiting our website. Those who visit the library are able to do this in person. Now you can also support the library service by donating online. You don't have to donate. Hertfordshire Libraries are a universal and free service to the community. Your decision to donate is an entirely voluntary one. We ask that you donate only as much as you feel comfortable with. You may want to consider either a one-off payment or more frequently.

100% of each donation goes directly to Hertfordshire Libraries and is used to maintain and enhance our services. https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/librarydonations

A reminder that tomorrow (Wednesday 16 September) afternoon we are hosting some extra special activities for young people at Hitchin Library.

We are looking for families with babies, toddlers and young children (up to age 7) to join us for a special photography session at Hitchin Library. These photos will be used to showcase Hertfordshire Libraries and all the amazing things you can enjoy including book sharing, family activities, Baby Rhyme Time and Storytime.

Throughout the afternoon, we will be hosting special Baby Rhyme Time and Storytime sessions where we will capture photographs of children and families enjoying these activities together. Please note that these activities will be a shortened version of our usual sessions to allow time for photography. Session start times will vary depending on the age of your child - for more details about the afternoon and the timings, visit: https://tinyurl.com/9yhx682e
