WE ARE CLOSED TODAY… Friday 23 October. Just a reminder that we are closed all day today whilst essential electrical works are carried out. Open again tomorrow, Saturday 24th.
We will then be closed 2-6 November inclusive to allow for more work to be carried out in preparation for the Open Plus service which launches in 2027.

Can you help us share the books everyone wants to read this month? 📚

There’s high demand for our 10 most wanted titles, and many eager customers are waiting to borrow them. We’ve purchased as many copies as our budget allows, but if you’re able to help, we’d be truly grateful.

If you have a pristine copy, you’ve finished reading - whether it’s one you bought yourself or received as a gift - you can donate it at any library in Devon or Torbay. We’ll add it to our collection to help reduce the waiting list.

Thank you so much for your support! 💚

Happy October - we’ve got a treat for you! Our libraries are abolishing late fees, including all existing overdue fines. No tricks! 🎃💚

We hope by removing overdue fees, we are further reducing barriers to reading. This change is effective immediately.

Reservation fees and charges for lost items will still apply.
