LIVES WHATEVER IT IS. WHATEVER YOU NEED. WE’VE GOT YOU. A commitment to saving life, whatever it takes. That’s what unites all our Emergency Responders. This isn’t a job.

Lincolnshire’s Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service: Delivering rapid, life-saving first response care for 999 emergencies across Lincolnshire through our network of Community First Responders. Whether they’re providing rapid first response support on their doorstep, or highly specialised medical interventions around the clock and across the county. It’s what they do. This is a life choice, that all LIVES’ volunteers share. Our charity provides expert skills through responding to a 999 call. We provide expert training. We fundraise. We are there when you need us most. www.LIVES.org.uk

“I feel like I could step in now, and attempt to help somebody.”

That’s the confidence lifesaving training can give. Our volunteers attended Gainsborough B**r Festival, offering free heart health checks and practical CPR and defibrillator training to local people.

One visitor told us they had no idea how to use a defibrillator. After our volunteers talked them through CPR and showed them how it works, they felt more confident about stepping in to help during an emergency.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, and to our volunteers for their patience, knowledge and warm welcome.

💛 Please donate to support our work in communities across Lincolnshire, helping more people learn the skills and build the confidence to save a life.

❤️ And we’re off!

Our first community event of Restart a Heart Day 2026 is underway at the University of Lincoln, in the Sarah Swift Building!

Our team is on hand to help people learn the lifesaving skill of CPR, building the confidence to step in and help when every second counts.

At LIVES, we believe CPR is a skill everyone should know. You never know when you might need it, but one day it could help you save someone’s life.

We’re looking forward to meeting lots of people throughout the day, so keep an eye on our socials as we share updates from our teams across Lincolnshire!

❤️ It’s Restart a Heart Day 2026!

We believe CPR is a skill that everyone should know. It’s something we hope you’ll never have to use, but if the moment comes, knowing what to do could help save someone’s life.

As a charity that prides itself on educating communities across Lincolnshire in lifesaving skills, today is a brilliant opportunity to raise awareness of just how important CPR really is.

We’ll be out and about at various events throughout the day, helping more people learn the skills and gain the confidence to step in when it matters most.

And we’ll be keeping you updated on Jonathan’s whereabouts throughout the day, so keep an eye on our page to see what we’re getting up to!

Because knowing CPR could mean the difference between life and death. ❤️

Your support helps us continue educating communities across Lincolnshire, giving more people the knowledge and confidence to act in an emergency.

❤️ Help us teach more people lifesaving skills. Donate today and help us save more lives.

Would you know how to respond if a child had a severe allergic reaction?

This Anaphylaxis Awareness Week, our LIVES Expert Training team is helping schools and education settings build their knowledge and confidence, including understanding Benedict’s Law.

With e-learning available for just £14.95 per user and face-to-face training also on offer, find out how your team can feel prepared below 👇

Would you know what to do if a child in your care had a severe allergic reaction?

This Anaphylaxis Awareness Week, we’re highlighting why recognising a severe allergic reaction and knowing how to respond are vital skills for anyone working with children.

For schools and education settings, that knowledge needs to extend beyond designated first aiders. Teachers, teaching assistants, nursery teams and volunteers all have a role in helping children stay safe. Benedict Blythe Foundation Benedict’s Law is an important part of that conversation, bringing allergy safety, staff awareness and emergency preparedness into focus for schools.

For just £14.95 per user, our new Anaphylaxis Awareness e-learning course provides a flexible way for education staff to develop their understanding of:

• Benedict’s Law, why it came about and what it means for schools.

• What anaphylaxis is and how to recognise it.

• Common triggers.

• How to respond when an adult or child experiences anaphylaxis.

It’s about helping staff feel prepared to act when a child needs them most.

If you’re reviewing training for your school or education setting, we’d love to help.

Happy Lincolnshire Day! 💛

From the city of Lincoln to our towns, villages, coast and countryside, we’re proud to be part of this wonderful county.

Every day, our volunteer responders and medical teams are out supporting people across Lincolnshire. From responding to medical emergencies to caring for patients at home and helping people who have fallen, our teams make a difference when it matters most.

Behind that work are the people, businesses and communities who support LIVES. Thank you to everyone who donates, fundraises and gives their time to help us care for our county.

This Lincolnshire Day, please consider making a donation to support our charity and help us continue to be there for people who need us.

Training together helps us stay prepared for whatever comes next.

Our teams recently joined Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue for a realistic multi-agency training scenario, putting their skills, communication and decision-making into practice in a safe and controlled environment.

Scenarios like this give everyone involved the opportunity to strengthen teamwork, refine how we respond under pressure and identify where we can improve - ultimately helping to keep patients safer when faced with a real emergency.

A huge thank you to Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue for inviting us along and giving our teams such a valuable opportunity to train together.

The team from Streets Heaver were hard at work at LIVES yesterday, generously giving up their time to help refresh and brighten some of our office spaces.

They did a fantastic job, and the improvements have already made such a difference to the spaces our staff and volunteers use every day.

We’re incredibly grateful to the whole team for choosing to support LIVES and for putting so much time, care and effort into the project. Thank you, Streets Heaver! 💛
