At OAI our students REACH and achieve their goals! Oasis Community Learning was set up in 2004 with the express purpose of developing the Oasis Academies.

Its roots are strongly based in Oasis UK. Oasis Academy Immingham is proud to be the first Oasis Academy to open. Oasis Community Learning believe in 'Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community'. We understand the complex responsibilities of education, through a lens of character, competence and community. These principles, along with the Oasis 9 Habits and ethos, are intentionally developed and embedded throughout all of our academies day-to-day. We have a commitment to inclusion, social integration and closing the disadvantage gap; we want to give advantage to the disadvantaged. Through a fostering of character and relationships, our students and teachers can form meaningful relationships built on a shared determination to learn and develop together as one community; one family. Together, Oasis staff aspire to:

Create safe, stimulating learning environments
Increase progress and attainment above national averages
Provide high quality teaching which secures good and accelerated progress for all students.

Exploring future opportunities this half term! ⚙️🌟

Today, a group of our Year 11 students visited HETA to find out more about the different sectors, training routes and opportunities available to them.

A huge thank you to Olivia and the HETA team for giving up their time during the holidays to show us around the site, explain the options and talk us through the application process. Your support helps our students feel more informed and confident about their next steps.

It was also fantastic to have Steve, our new Principal joining us in January, come along for the visit and meet some of our Year 11 students.

Well done to our students for taking time out of their half-term break to explore their futures. We’re proud of your commitment! 👏

⚽️🌍 Monster Kickabout European Tour - Review ⚽️🌍

What an unforgettable week. Amazing experiences and memories to last a lifetime 🙏

We would like to thank some very important people…

-Our phenomenal coach driver Richard, who has been so good with the boys all week. He’s now a member of our group for life!

-Our brilliant tour manager Luke, who put together a wonderful schedule for us and was so patient accommodating all of our requests!

-The outstanding coaches at Feyenoord and stadium staff at PSV Eindhoven for providing elite experiences for the boys at two world class clubs.

-All the staff at the superb Best Western Hotel Nobis, who have looked after us so incredibly well this week.

-All the staff at Oasis who helped make this tour a reality and supported us. A special thanks of course to Mr Sutton, for joining us on our adventure and looking after the boys.

⭐️And finally, to the boys themselves. Your behaviour, attitude and approach to everything has been simply stunning. Everyone we have met has loved you and had so much praise for you. We’ve made memories that will last forever and I wouldn’t change a single second of it.

🫡 Until our next adventure…

Mr Vincent

🎃 Monster Kickabout European Tour Day 3 - Halloween Scarefest Night 🎃

What a night for the boys at an absolutely spectacular Halloween Scarefest at Toverland! 😀

Terrific rides, traditional food and some incredible haunted experiences including rides in the dark, smoke everywhere, scare actors at every corner, a haunted underground mine and the biggest outdoor corn maze in Europe!

What an atmosphere and what an incredible way to spend our final night in Holland. 🇳🇱

🎓 Thinking about your next steps after Year 10/11? 🎓

John Leggott College is hosting an Open Event on Saturday 7th November, 10:00am - 1:00pm, giving students and families the opportunity to explore the college, meet staff, discover course options and learn more about life at JLC.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to gain first-hand insight into post-16 education and start considering the exciting opportunities available after secondary school.

We encourage all students and parents/carers who may be interested to attend.

Careers Guidance at Oasis Academy Immingham

At Oasis Academy Immingham, we are committed to helping every student make informed and ambitious decisions about their future.

Our careers programme provides students with access to impartial careers guidance, helping them explore their strengths, interests and aspirations whilst understanding the wide range of opportunities available to them, including sixth forms, colleges, apprenticeships, technical qualifications and employment pathways.

Parents and carers will shortly receive a letter outlining the careers guidance support available within the academy and how students can access this support throughout their school journey.

We encourage all families to take a few moments to read the information and discuss future aspirations and opportunities with their child.

Should you have any questions regarding careers guidance, please do not hesitate to contact Miss Hannah Bown, Careers Adviser.
