The information and advice we offer puts the resources of the Business Gateway network, a wealth of contacts, a comprehensive programme of practical workshops and events and an extensive amount of information at the fingertips of people starting and growing their business. We have strong partnerships with a wide variety of professional organisations and are a publicly funded service with the aim of contributing to the economic well being of Scotland. A recent report estimates that for the £44.2 million invested in Business Gateway between 2008/09 and 2010/11, £301 million has been created in Gross Value Added. Business Gateway services are delivered by Local Authorities, Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and Scottish Government with the support of associated partner organizations. These include:
