🍂 Our final week of summer opening at Monteviot!

We’re open until 31st October, and despite the recent storms, there’s still so much to see and enjoy here. 🌿

From next week, we’ll move to restricted winter opening, but there’s good news — Cedar Hus sauna will be open all winter for those cosy, relaxing moments whatever the weather. 🔥

We look forward to welcoming you for one last visit

It’s half term, and as usual, kids go free! So wrap up warm, come along and kick some leaves! 🍁

A huge thank you to Rachel from Among The Woods And Waters for a fantastic fungi identification day this past week! 🍄 We had a brilliant time discovering and learning about the wonderful world of fungi.

If you missed it, Rachel will be back in action at the Northern Fungi Festival, near Denholm, on Sunday 11th October. Hope to see you there! 🍄

Late summer is gently giving way to early autumn at Monteviot Gardens. 🌿🍂

Roses and hydrangeas are still in bloom, rowan berries and apples are ripening, and the late flowering herbaceous perennials continue to bring colour. Meanwhile, the first signs of senescence are appearing on our specialist trees like the Persian Ironwood.

A beautiful moment of transition, with plenty to see in the garden. 🍎🍂
