A few years ago, BT offered Parish Councils the chance to buy the K6 phone boxes for £1 - mainly to get them off of BT's hands. After a few years of not knowing what to do with the one in Cowling, CPC had decided to get rid of it. After a bit of persuasion, they have given the phone box a stay of ex*****on.
