Brier Street is NOT unadopted .
It is a BDMC maintained area .
So why has it been allowed to get and remain in this state ?
One resident recently fell on the slippy surface .
They contacted me stating they had been told it was unadopted for years ..
I found out using a website it definitely was not and proved this to BDMC who will now clear the accumulated mess and clean the surface ..
Back Cliffe Terrace is a fly tipping hot spot ..
2 lots reported since Feb 12th .
I aim to permanently change this ..

I have been contacted by a resident who had voiced concerns about a 12ft retaining wall built right next to his garden .
This 'wall' holds back an estate of 25 houses .
He could find no paperwork to check it was built correctly or was up to the job .
Within 6 months it collapsed at 2.00am into his newly erected fence .
The site had been visited previously by the Keighley East district councillors who assured residents all was well with the levels .
I visited the site and spoke to him .
I have reported this to
planning enforcement ..
Building control ..
And it has been added to problem sites .

The path leading to Park woods ..
I have repeatedly asked BDMC to clear this as a lay person yet it seems to gather litter within weeks ..
I will be looking in to more stringent ways to clear it and keep it clear and improve the path itself its near impassable ..
And how sad the 'kissing' gate has been allowed to fall in to disrepair without anybody noticing it ..

Parkwood rise ...
I don't think there is a poorer road in Keighley that's not unadopted ..
I'll be looking at changing that ..

The Hainworth Cobbles ..
A resident who lives on this road had already contacted the district councillors and Robbie Moore involved ..
The best they got was 2 " Ice on road " road work type signs ..
I have reported the non gritting ..
And ensured this will definitely be done before the next ice / snow session ..
Reported hopefully sorted ..
