🎮🎻 Meet Joe Davies! 🎻🎮

From Cumbria Youth Orchestra player to CYO conductor ⭐

Born and raised in Cumbria, Joe knows exactly what it's like to sit in the orchestra, tackle challenging music, make new friends and perform unforgettable concerts. Now he's back leading the orchestra that helped inspire his own musical journey.

Today, Joe works with professional orchestras across the country. He is Assistant Conductor of the English Symphony Orchestra and has recently conducted the Royal Northern Sinfonia and the UK Proms in the Park Orchestra. He's also Musical Director of the London Video Game Orchestra, making him the perfect person to lead CYO's Video Games Concert Project.

Recently praised in reviews for his "musical brilliance" and described as a "force to be reckoned with", Joe has conducted everything from symphonies and operas to some of the most epic music written for video games.

This isn't just another out of school activity - It's your chance to perform epic music, develop your orchestral skills, and be part of a live performance with talented young musicians from across Cumbria.

Whether you're already a confident player or wondering if you're good enough, Joe's message is simple:

✨ Give it a go.
🎮 Play incredible music.
🎻 Challenge yourself.
🤝 Meet other musicians who love what you love.
🚀 Be part of something you'll remember for years.

Where could your musical journey take you?
