St. George Class (EYFS) were very excited to welcome some visitors. The children loved learning about the different ways the fire service helps people, hearing the sirens and sitting inside the fire engine. Thank you to Northamptonshire Fire Service for a fun and engaging visit.

Huge congratulations to our Year 4, 5 and 6 children who took part in the Emile Times Table Regional challenge this week. We competed against 19 schools and answered over 27,000 questions. One of our Year 5 children was ranked 2nd overall! What an achievement! We are through to the National Final that will take place later this month. Well done everyone!

St. Rose Class (Year One) have been enjoying their Mastering Number sessions and exploring how they can partition the number 5 in different ways.

They used counters to help them see that 5 can be made from two parts in lots of different ways. The children enjoyed moving the counters, spotting the different combinations and showing their thinking using their gestures too!
