This morning we had the lovely Ben come in with his interactive screen and it's safe to say it went down a treat with all the residents! Everyone enjoyed having a go at quizzes, musical instruments, fishing, painting, and naughts and crosses just to name a few!

This afternoon we had a mini pumpkin trail in the garden where residents had to find the hidden pumpkins outside, lots of laughs and giggles! 🎃

As today was national apple day AND national honey day, Louise and Winnie made a delicious apple and honey pie with Heather for everyone to enjoy at tea time! 🍏🍯🥧

On Saturday everyone enjoyed having Beth in to sing for us again, of course everyone was up singing and dancing as usual! Sheila and Nancy were also treated to a rendition of happy birthday as they both recently celebrated their special day 🎂 ❤️

And this week we have been busy making octopuses for National Octopus Day tomorrow 🐙
Everyone loved seeing them go up on display in the lounge today!

Jigsaw puzzles this morning followed by some fitness with David this afternoon, and a bit of nail care somewhere in between!

On Monday this week we had a lovely game of bingo with John being the bingo caller for us, and Roy winning five (yes five!) rounds!
And today a couple of the ladies enjoyed a nice harvest festival themed colouring session with Heather and lovely fruit and veg basket made up by Lisa in the kitchen for inspiration 🫑🥕🧅🌾

With today being the international day of peace, residents enjoyed cutting and sticking to create their own pictures using white doves 🕊 as the symbol of peace 🤍

Last week we got our autumn display done and will be adding to it as we progress through October to make it more spooky 🍂🦇
