Hi everyone! You may have noticed in passing the amazing job Britta is doing on our dry stone wall outside the Post Office. We would like to ask the community with some help. Does anyone have coping stones laying around for the top of the wall they could donate? Usually half moon shaped with one flat edge and a rounded side. The dimensions are approx 30cm wide and 30cm tall. they can be slightly smaller or bigger. The photos below are examples of what we are looking for. If you can help that would be amazing, we hope this wall will be standing for at least the next 100 years. Please contact the Post Office or Britta Letz. EDIT. We will not remove stones from the beach, which breaks the coastal protection act 1949, and comes with a £1000 fine.
