But what is a Neighbourhood Watch Association
A Neighbourhood Watch association is a regional or district committee of volunteers that represents, connects, and supports local Neighbourhood Watch schemes and coordinators across a defined community area.
What a Neighbourhood Watch Association Does
• Supports local groups: Helps establish new schemes, trains coordinators, and provides practical resources.
• Liaises with authorities: Connects residents and local streets with the police, local councils, and crime-prevention agencies.
• Shares information: Distributes crime alerts, safety toolkits, and prevention advice to members.
West Midlands Neighbourhood Watch Association
'The association in the West Midlands covers a population of over 3 million people in 7 districts and has over 1000 Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators and 118,000 members working to keep their communities safe. That may seem like a large number but it’s just under 4% of the population of the West Midlands
