It is with sadness that we have learned of the passing of Councillor Archie Dryburgh MBE.
Archie regularly attended our meetings until his illness, and we are grateful for his service to our community.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues.

Rest in peace, Archie.

Archie Dryburgh MBE
D&G Councillor Annandale East & Eskdale and Armed Forces Champion

It is with sadness when I read a family post a couple of hours ago informing everyone of the passing of Archie.

A former Gordon Highlander he worked tirelessly for military veterans both here in Dumfriesshire and throughout Scotland. This combined with his utmost commitment to public services in D&G saw him honoured with an MBE in 2019.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, comrades and colleagues at this extremely sad time.

R.I.P. Archie
