πŸ“šβœ¨ What a brilliant day for the Leeds Book Awards 2027!

Yesterday, we brought together a fantastic cross-section of Leeds Libraries and School Library Service staff for our shortlisting meeting. There were plenty of great conversations, lots of book love, and some tough decisions to make!

We’ve now selected three brilliant books for each of our four categories:

πŸ“– Middle Grade Fiction
🎨 Middle Grade Graphics
πŸ“š Teen Fiction
✨ Teen Graphics

We can’t wait to share our shortlists with you all in December! πŸŽ‰

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped us celebrate the very best newly published books for children and young people, championing diverse authors, characters, voices and genres.

Stay tuned! πŸ‘€
