🎉Our Housing Hub turns 1! 🎉

On the 30 October, we're celebrating the Housing Hub's 1st birthday. 🥳We're planning a small celebration to mark the occasion and we'd love to see you there.

We're also delighted to welcome SURE, our gas services contractor, to the Hub. Tony from SURE will be on hand to answer your questions and provide practical demonstrations, including how to bleed radiators, set thermostats correctly and get the best from your heating system.🌡️

Whether you have a specific question, want a few money-saving tips, or simply fancy a chat about how to get the most from your heating, you're welcome to book a slot or drop in bu see Tony.

One highlight is how our Money Matters team has helped customers increase their income by an impressive £795k over the past year.🙌

A big part of this has been helping customers move from legacy benefits to Universal Credit. This includes couple Roxy and her husband, who reached out to us for support with their benefits claim. As well as helping them successfully access their new entitlement, we assisted with a referral to Occupational Therapy, which led to the installation of a stairlift and a wet room in their home.

Roxy says, "Knowing I’m getting a stairlift to keep me safe is wonderful. I’ll get that self-trust and confidence back; it’ll have such a positive impact on my wellbeing.”
