💙WHAT AN AMAZING DAY FOR TEAM TROUPERS DANCE ACADEMY! 💙
32 DANCERS, ONE AMAZING TEAM AND SO MANY PROUD MOMENTS! 💙@

On Sunday, our amazing Team Troupers Dance Academy dancers had the fantastic opportunity to perform at Drayton Manor! 🎢💃

We took 32 talented young dancers, who absolutely smashed their performances! 🌟 Every single dancer showcased all the hard work, dedication and commitment they put into their dance sessions week after week, and we couldn’t be prouder of them all! 💙

But these opportunities are about so much more than just performing on a stage.
💙 Building confidence and self-esteem
💙 Supporting positive mental health and wellbeing
💙 Developing teamwork and friendships
💙 Learning commitment, discipline and resilience
💙 Encouraging young people to believe in themselves
💙 Creating memories and experiences that will last a lifetime

Dance really IS a sport! 💪💃 It takes strength, stamina, dedication, teamwork and hours of practice. Our dancers work incredibly hard, and opportunities like this give them the chance to shine, grow in confidence and see what they can achieve together.

And of course, the day wasn’t just about dancing! 🎢🎡 Once the performances were over, our dancers got to enjoy exploring Drayton Manor and experiencing all the exciting rides, making even more amazing memories with their dance friends! 💙

💙A MASSIVE THANK YOU to all our wonderful dancers, parents and staff who gave up their Sunday to make this special day possible.

Without the dedication, encouragement and support of our dance families and Staff opportunities like these simply wouldn’t happen.

It’s days like this that remind us why we do what we do. Seeing our young people smiling, growing in confidence, supporting one another and achieving something special together is what Team Troupers is all about! 💙

🌟 To every single one of our 32 dancers be proud of yourselves, because we certainly are! Keep shining, keep believing and keep dancing! 🌟

💃💙TEAM TROUPERS 💙🕺
MORE THAN JUST A DANCE ACADEMY, WE ARE ONE BIG DANCE FAMILY! 💙💃

Spaces Available in Our Financial Literacy Sessions

Over the last few weeks, we have been developing the young people’s financial literacy skills through practical, everyday activities. We have been planning meals, budgeting for food shopping, and discussing the importance of food hygiene and safe food preparation.

We also visited the Co-op, where the young people took the lead in planning a cookie recipe, identifying the ingredients they needed, and purchasing them from the shop. Once we returned, they worked together to make the cookies.

These activities have provided valuable opportunities for the young people to develop essential life skills, including budgeting, meal planning, money management, decision-making, teamwork and independence. By learning through real-life experiences, they have been able to put their knowledge into practice and build confidence in managing everyday tasks.
