We’ve got a brilliant run of activities coming up and there is something for everyone crafters, gamers, families and our spooky little visitors.

Knit & Natter – Thursday 22nd October 26, 6pm–7.30pm
Join our friendly group for a cosy evening of knitting, crochet and good conversation. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned crafter, you’ll be warmly welcomed.

Chess & Board Games Morning – Saturday 24th October 26 10am-12 noon
Drop in for a relaxed morning of classic board games, puzzles and friendly competition. Perfect for all ages . Come along and play something new or bring an old favourite.

Halloween Activities – Saturday 31st October 26 10am-12 noon
A fun, spooky morning in the library with crafts, stories and Halloween‑themed activities. Dressing up is very much encouraged — witches, wizards, pumpkins and little monsters all welcome.

All these events are free. You will be made to feel very welcome. We’d love to see you there.

Don't forget about our brilliant 'Paper Aeroplane Making Morning' - taking place tomorrow (Saturday 10th October).
Children, parents and carers are invited to build and fly their own paper aeroplanes. From simple folds to clever two‑piece tail‑plane designs, we’ll have options for all ages and ability with a fun flight challenge at the end.
And the Red Arrows (scarecrow) is waiting to greet you all outside too!😎

We’ve got a fantastic week of activities coming up in the libary with something for everyone.

Wild Animal Storytime – Wednesday 7th October 26
Join us for a lively, animal‑themed storytime full of fun, imagination and roaring good tales. Perfect for little ones who love creatures great and small.

Knit & Natter – Thursday 8th October 26
Our friendly group welcomes knitters, crocheters and complete beginners. Bring your woolly project, share ideas, learn new skills and enjoy a relaxed evening of chat and creativity.

Paper Aeroplane Making Morning – Saturday 10th October 26
Children, parents and carers are invited to build and fly their own paper aeroplanes. From simple folds to clever two‑piece tail‑plane designs, we’ll have options for all ages and ability with a fun flight challenge at the end.

If you fancy a cosy evening of chatter, creativity and good company our Knit & Natter group would love to have you join us. Whether you’re a seasoned knitter, a crochet enthusiast, or someone who just wants to give it a try, you will find a friendly bunch ready to welcome you in.
