Halloween 🎃 | Make it a treat for everyone 👻

Have a good time this Saturday, just remember that not everyone celebrates Halloween and may not want people coming to their door trick or treating.

Some people, particularly the elderly and vulnerable, may get worried or even frightened if strangers are continually calling at their door during the evening. It can also disturb babies, young children and nervous dogs and cats.

So please respect those who don’t want to take part in trick or treating, and stick to areas and people you know.

If you welcome trick or treaters, or if you’d rather they didn’t come knocking, you can download and print posters for your window that lets them know either way from our website 👉 https://orlo.uk/PUPDZ

There’s a colour “Sorry – no trick or treat” poster, and a black and white printer friendly version. You’ll also find a colour “Welcome Halloween callers with children in costume” poster, and a version of that to colour in.

Retailers: you can also download a poster which lets people know that the sale of eggs and flour will be at your discretion.

PCSO Bex, TSSO’s Kev and Megan attended Liskeard Hillfort Primary school to visit Rockets 🚀 and Stars 🌟.
The children got to have a look at the Tri Service Officers Car and tested the lights and sirens 🚨
Bex talked the children about her role and the things she carries on her when out and about. She showed the children her magic pen and torch 🔦 which people can use to mark any valuable property they might have. They also talked about her role and how she keeps people happy and safe.
The children were excellent listeners and asked some great questions, but did they guess what colour Bex’s socks were….. 🎅🏼
Thank you to Hillfort Primary School for allowing us to visit 👮🏽🚓

Freshers means packed venues, busy bars and crowded dance floors. It’s all part of the vibe.

Someone knocking into you is almost always an accident even if it’ll leave a bruise. Best thing to do is move to another part of the venue and carry on with your night.

Make the right choice. Walk Away.

Make sure that time out with new mates is remembered for the right reasons.
