💭 FUN FACT: Valentines day is celebrated in honour of Saint Valentine, a martyr who became a symbol of love & romance due to his compassionate actions while in prison.

This one most certainly deserves a special spot on Feedback Friday, although not specifically feedback, it is most certain special.

Our lovely Yvonne, a carer based at our St Helens branch, is part of the committee at the Department of Health & Care Workers in UNISON. Because of this she was invited to a formal reception at Windsor Castle, with King Charles himself, where they discussed promises that King Charles and the Prime Minister have made to care workers and how they aim to fulfil these.

The reception consisted of champagne and canapes and royal mingling with the King himself and care workers from across the UK.

What an amazing opportunity and Yvonne was present representing New Day Care.

"Good Afternoon, New Day Care"

If you have placed a phone call to our Liverpool Branch, you will have most certainly spoken to the lovely Sophie. Sophie continually works hard and throws herself into everything that she comes across.

Sophie is an absolute all rounder in both branches, but predominantly Liverpool.

Sophie has worked as a care worker for New Day Care for several years, and during her last pregnancy, Sophie needed something a little less physically demanding, we had an opening in the office & Sophie fitted right in.

We are super proud of Sophie, her hard work, determination, always eager to learn.

PS, Sophie has the most soothing phone voice you will ever hear!!
