Foster Care Fortnight starts today š
Across Liverpool, weāre celebrating our past present and future foster carers!
This yearās theme, āThis is Fosteringā, shines a light on what fostering really looks like ā the everyday moments, the challenges, and the lifeāchanging impact it has on children and young people.
Foster care can provide stability, security and compassion when a childās world feels uncertain. It can be a turning point ā helping them feel safe, supported, and able to thrive.
⨠And the truth is ā thereās no such thing as a ātypicalā foster carer.
People from all walks of life foster, and there are many ways to get involved, including flexible options like short breaks and partātime care.
If youāve ever thought about fostering ā this could be your time.
