The little snippet I managed to capture of me and @liverpoolbayhotshop making an o***y and fallopian tube, before my phone ran out! This became a bit of a juggling act due to the amount of different colour components, and it just being the two of us! A little chaotic, but it was so much fun working out the process of this make. We’ve already got ideas on how to refine and improve the process, I just had so much fun experimenting with techniques to get the effect I’m aiming for. Oh its that time of year again! Our Christmas theme this year is cranberry glass. First used in about the 4th century AD, rediscovered in Bohemia in the 18th century and immensely popular following the Great Exhibition of 1851. Cranberry glass, also known as gold ruby, was made in and around Stourbridge by Stuart Crystal, Thomas Web, Stevens and Williams, and Wood Brothers in South Yorkshire. Here I infuse it with honey and combine it with my forms from the beehive to bring this tradition back to the festive season.
