Everyone received a full day of training in film & TV production as well as looking at technical equipment such as radios, spoke about wellbeing in the industry & what their first day on set will look like in entry level positions.

Thank you so much to Jim Horsfield from Film fixer 🎬 Set Ready who delivered the day and to all those in the room! Looking forward to working with you all very soon 📽️

The initiative will commission five original comedy script developments and aims to discover fresh voices capable of creating a sitcom that captures Liverpool's distinctive humour and spirit.

To be eligible, writers must be from or currently based in the Liverpool City Region and apply with a UK-based production company.
