⚽ Heading to Everton v Chelsea tomorrow?

Please allow additional time for your journey due to road and rail works.

Great Howard Street is currently closed northbound to allow for emergency electrical repairs to take place. Please avoid driving through the area wherever possible.

To help keep everyone safe as they travel to and from Hill Dickinson, Boundary Street will be made one-way heading towards the Stadium, from 9am to 12.30pm.

After the match, the traffic management arrangements will be adjusted to help supporters and vehicles leave the stadium area safely and efficiently.

Anyone travelling to the match is encouraged to use public transport wherever possible, as this is the most reliable way to travel through the city, and to allow for additional time getting to and from the stadium.

Please note that due to planned engineering work on the Merseyrail network, rail replacement bus services will be operating between Hunts Cross and Moorfields stations, with no bus stop at Liverpool Central.

Liverpool is fortunate to be blessed with many organisations dedicated to making a positive difference to residents’ lives.

In this episode of Mersey Views we speak to a family-run waste firm whose clean-ups have been a social media sensation, and a Kirkdale charity that has been transforming lives through education, employment and community-based projects for 40 years.

We learn more about why they are so passionate about the city. There are also answers to listener’s questions and a guide to what’s happening in Liverpool this month.

Join Councillor Liam Robinson, the Leader of Liverpool City Council, and co-host Dylan Evans as they discuss stories close to the city’s heart.
