Welcome to HMS Charger's Official page, we are the affiliated training ship for Liverpool University Royal Navy Unit.
HMS Charger is an Archer-class patrol vessel built by Watercraft Limited, Shoreham-by-Sea and fitted out at Vosper Thornycroft. She is 20 metres long and 5.8 metres wide and powered by two Rolls-Royce turbo engines. The ship is based at the Royal Naval Headquarters (Merseyside) in Liverpool and was commissioned in 1988. She has five full-time Royal Navy company, and sails with an Royal Naval Reser

We have had a great couple days in Bangor engaging with the local community including NI
RFCA NI on Twitter “Yesterday from across Northern Ireland were invited to spend an afternoon at sea on P2000's HMS Biter and HMS Charger while the vessels were visiting. The vessels sailed from Bangor and headed down around the Copeland Islands and then returned to Bangor! ⚓️🚢”
