Mae Winnie'r Wrach yn byw mewn tŷ du. Mae ganddi gadeiriau du a grisiau du, lloriau du a drysau du. Y broblem yw bod cath Winnie, Wilbur, hefyd yn ddu. Ar ôl eistedd arni a baglu drosti, mae Winnie yn penderfynu troi Wilbur yn gath werdd. Ond yna mae'n mynd allan i'r glaswellt hir! Bydd angen ychydig o hud a lledrith ar Winnie i wneud yn siŵr ei bod hi'n gallu gweld Wilbur drwy'r amser ....

📸 O'r archifau: Casgliad Bennett-Lloyd
Oeddech chi'n gwybod bod Archifau Powys yn cadw amrywiaeth o eitemau o ohebiaeth a lluniau i gynlluniau ystadau a mapiau? Mae ein staff yn uwchlwytho'r eitemau i chi eu gweld ar-lein.

Mae'r llythyr jôc hwn a ysgrifennwyd yn ofalus o 1807 yn rhan o gasgliad Bennett- Lloyd sydd newydd ei gatalogio. Byddai Frederick Bennett-Lloyd yn sefydlu Lloyd a Lloyd Ironmongers ochr yn ochr â'i frawd Clement Withers Lloyd, gan fuddsoddi mewn warws ar Stryd Wesley yn y Drenewydd.

Mae'r llythyr hwn yn mynd yn fwy eithafol yn raddol wrth iddo drafod costau sawl llawdriniaeth erchyll a gynhaliwyd ar unigolyn, gan gyrraedd y pwynt o dynnu rhannau o'r corff a glanhau organau.

📸 From the Archives: Bennett-Lloyd Collection

Did you know Powys Archives holds a range of items from correspondence and pictures to estate plans and maps? Our staff regularly upload items for you to view online.

This carefully written joke letter from 1807 is part of the newly catalogued Bennett-Lloyd collection. Frederick Bennett-Lloyd would found Lloyd and Lloyd Ironmongers alongside his brother Clement Withers Lloyd, investing in a warehouse on Wesley Street in Newtown.

This letter slowly becomes more extreme as it discusses the costs of several gruesome surgeries conducted on an individual, eventually reaching the point of removing body parts and cleaning of organs.
