Sunbeds can cause skin cancer - yet some businesses let children and teenagers use them illegally. The Department of Health and Social Care - DHSC has launched a consultation on introducing tougher regulations for commercial sunbeds, as part of their National Cancer Plan. This survey will close at 11.59pm on 14 August 2026.

This week The Patients Association published its latest Patient Experience report, highlighting how people are experiencing care across the NHS.

From the 807 patients surveyed, who shared their experience over the past six months 69% said their priorities, goals and preferences were not discussed in their care and 57% experienced issues in GP and hospital services.

The NHS is encouraging anyone struggling with feelings of depression or anxiety, including excessive worry, panic attacks, social anxiety, post-traumatic stress, or obsessions and compulsions, to seek help through NHS Talking Therapies services.

Haringey Talking Therapies Service, based at Crouch End Health Centre, is a free NHS, psychological therapy service offering support for a range of common mental health difficulties such as depression and anxiety, OCD, PTSD and more

The service provide a range of treatment programmes including one to one therapy and counselling.
