Down with the crown!
We’re often told that the monarchy is little more than harmless pompery. It’s there to look nice but doesn’t actually affect how the country is run. And after all, isn’t the Queen a lovely lady who works mightily hard?
But the sinister truth couldn’t be further from this myth peddled by the ruling class. From Meghan Markle’s revelations to Prince Andrew’s court settlement we’ve been afforded a glimpse at rotten stench that lies at the heart of the monarchy.
On the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee come to hear the case for the immediate and total abolition of this reactionary relic!

Great to be out with comrades from today - a bit of friendly competition in sales saw .marxists win a close contest that went right to the wire. The home advantage was definitely at play as they edged it 9 sales to Streatham’s 8.
Had lots of great chats with passers by as well as the Go Ahead bus drivers who are rightly very angry at current working conditions.
The drivers are in a militant mood as they are awaiting an increased pay offer from their employer next month, if the Arriva dispute is anything to go by a measly 1.5% pay rise will not cut it!
Solidarity to all the striking bus drivers! For a United struggle across the sector! Victory to the drivers!
Come say hi next week, we will be in the same spot by the DLR with a new issue of the paper :)

Wage freezes, inflation, cuts, privatisations and NI rises, the bosses and their Tories (and labour bureaucrats) lackeys are squeezing every last pound from the pockets of workers and young people. But the labour movement is reawakening. A major fightback is awaiting. And this criminal bosses' system will be done away with once and for all.”

“This issue had the first article of mine in the paper - I was working as a courier at the time and apart of the IWGB, Courier and Logistics branch. We had a campaign to “defend the TDL 10” - a group of couriers attacked by their employer, a company boasting massive profits over the previous years . This was one of the first instances of bosses reacting and using the pandemic to attack workers and their conditions.”

We broke our record of papers sold in Lewisham this weekend! 🗞💨
Had lots of great discussions with school students, UCU members and Bus Drivers organised with UNITE. 🗣
The message was the same with everyone - from transport to education - capitalism is leading us in a race to the bottom. Militant and coordinated action is needed across these sectors, linking isolated struggles to repel the attacks from greedy bosses - fight fire with fire! 🔥
