രാജ്യത്തിനു വേണ്ടി ജീവന്‍ നല്‍കിയ രാജീവ് ഗാന്ധിയുടെ ഓര്‍മ്മകളില്‍ ഇന്ന് സദ്ഭാവന ദിനം. ദീര്‍ഘവീക്ഷണമുള്ള ഭരണാധികാരി. ഇന്ത്യന്‍ നാഷണല്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് പാര്‍ട്ടിക്ക് പുത്തനുണര്‍വ് നല്‍കിയ നേതാവ്. രാജ്യത്ത് ആദ്യമായി 21-ാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിന്റെ സാധ്യതകളെ കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിച്ചതും രാജീവ് ഗാന്ധിയായിരുന്നു. ഭൂതകാലത്തില്‍ അഭിരമിക്കാതെ ശാസ്ത്രസാങ്കേതിക മുന്നേറ്റത്തിലൂടെ ഭാവിയെ കുറിച്ച് ചിന്തിക്കാന്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ യുവാക്കളെ അദ്ദേഹം പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചു. പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പദത്തില്‍ ഇരുന്ന ചുരുങ്ങിയ കാലയളവിലാണ് അദ്ദേഹം രാജ്യത്തെ പുത്തന്‍ സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യയുടെ മേഖലകളിലേക്ക് കൈപിടിച്ചുയര്‍ത്തിയത്. സ്ത്രീശാക്തീകരണ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് തുടക്കമിട്ടതും അദ്ദേഹമായിരുന്നു. പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട രാജീവ് ഗാന്ധിയുടെ ഓര്‍മ്മകള്‍ക്ക് മുന്നില്‍ പ്രണാമം.
