Over the last five years, we have worked in partnership with Bookmark Charity to instil a love of reading and open the window to the wonderful world of books. If you would like to find out more and share your love of reading, why not become a volunteer?

Congratulations to the Paxton choir. They were joined by children from four other schools from across Croydon to take part in the Christmas Carols service. Each school sang a collection of carols before the Civic Mayor switched on the Christmas tree lights 🎄

Thanks to the National Literacy Trust children across the school have had the opportunity to write to as part of their campaign to help put a library in every primary school. Here are some of the postcards from children in Yr3.

What a beautiful start to school life. This week we welcomed our new Reception 2024 children, to a stay and play session. At the end of the afternoon thanks to Bookmark Charity all the children got to take home a pack to instil a ♥️

As part of across the school children became scientists and took part in extraordinary experiments. In Reception, an investigation into the water cycle filled the room with raindrops and laughter

Anyone for 🎾 Children in Yr6 were invited to attend a day of tennis led by some of the King’s College students and a specialist tennis coach. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day! Thank you King’s College School🌹🌹🌹
