Benjamin Moser grew up believing in Zionism. Then he visited Hebron.

In 2016, the Jewish American writer travelled to the occupied West Bank and witnessed the stark inequalities between Palestinians and Israeli settlers.

The restrictions on Palestinian movement, the checkpoints and the realities of military occupation challenged much of what he'd grown up believing about Israel.

It was a turning point.

Today, Moser is openly anti-Zionist. In his new book, Anti-Zionism: A Jewish History, he explores the lives of twelve Jewish figures who opposed Zionism, some long before the establishment of Israel in 1948.

Their objections were religious, political and moral, but their stories challenge one persistent claim: that Zionism speaks for all Jewish people.

🟥 AFC BOURNEMOUTH: REFUSE THE FIXTURE!

On 28 January 2027, AFC Bournemouth are scheduled to face Israeli club Hapoel Be’er Sheva.

We're calling on AFC Bournemouth to refuse the fixture and take a stand against Israel's actions in Gaza and the ongoing oppression of Palestinians.

Sport cannot be separated from human rights when it comes to apartheid, occupation and genocide.

South Africa faced a sporting boycott during apartheid. Russian football clubs were suspended following the invasion of Ukraine. Why should Israel be treated differently?

Football has the power to take a stand, and we're demanding that AFC Bournemouth, the FA, UEFA and FIFA do exactly that.
