Seeing someone grow in confidence, connection and joy is exactly what supported living is all about.
Our role is to create opportunities, nurture independence and support each person to experience the world in ways that feel meaningful to them.

We had such a lovely Valentine’s Day at Core Prospects!
Here’s a look back at all the preparation that went into making the day special from colourful decorations to everyone getting involved and adding their own creative touch.
These activities do more than brighten the room. They help people build confidence, connect with others, and feel truly at home in their supported living environment. It’s all part of creating a place where everyone feels valued, included and celebrated.

We never really know what someone might be going through. Sometimes the smallest conversation can make the biggest difference.
At Core Prospects, we support people living with mental health problems but we also know these challenges can affect anyone. We also recognise that this applies just as much to our own families, friends, and colleagues. No one is exempt from needing support.
If you’re supporting someone:
- Ask gentle questions and really listen
- Use positive body language and encouragement
- Don’t jump in with quick fixes
- Challenge myths. Mental health can affect anyone
- Be patient and let them open up in their own time
If you’re sharing your own feelings:
- Choose the way that feels right for you — face‑to‑face, video call or phone
- Find a comfortable time and place
- Think through what you want to say
- Be honest and open
- Let them know how they can support you
