In my first three years as Company council Rep. we negotiated for the introduction of Polo shirt as our summer uniform, when colleagues complained of tie and shirt during hot weather, even though the management frowned at it, with continuous agitation Polo shirt was included in our uniform for summer that year and later agreed for regular use all season till date.

I got nominated by Waterloo Branch yesterday, a branch I have served in for over two decades. First as recruitment secretary, able to move our membership from 200 to over 700 members, I later became the Assistant Branch Secretary under Ricky as well as Assistant Wessex Regional Secretary under Richard. Four Years ago when Ricky left I became The RMT Waterloo Branch Secretary organising and managing multi grades members from different companies flawlessly and also able to move membership from 700 to 860 members. Thank you so much Waterloo you have all been with me all the way, together we are victorious.
