Stand Up to Lgbtq+ Hate Crime

We've had a call out from a group of TU's and activists organising to oppose Turning Point Uk (Far right group), and to support this storytelling session. Honor Oak Pub, Forest Hill. 9am Sat 27th May

There is a petition out to STOP LGBT content in primary schools.
So to counter it I NEED you all to sign the KEEP LGBT content in primary schools petition https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/631529
This isn't about teaching them about S*x it's about providing an inclusive safe environment in schools for kids who are LGBT themselves or having loving LGBT families, not to be ashamed, ostracised or bullied.
It's about teaching kids to embrace difference and not fear it. It's about seeing ourselves reflect in art, literature and history.

Petition: Do not remove LGBT content from the Relationships Education curriculum We believe kids should learn about this at an early age. I am sure there are many parents who want their and other children taught about LGBT issues in primary school.

Dear Stand up to LGBTQ+ Hate Crime crew! :) Please share amongst all journalists - For Immediate Release – 19.08.21 – Q***r Night Pride (is a protest) demonstration announcements – Out of the clubs and on to the streets.

The second ‘Q***r Night Pride’ demonstration will take over the streets now in two key cities in response to the massive rise in hate crimes. In Hackney on the evening of Friday August 27th and Bristol on Saturday August 28th. Speakers include representatives from ‘LGBT Traveller Pride’, ‘The Transprisoner Alliance’, ‘UK Black Pride’, ‘Gay Liberation Front’, ‘Make Poland Q***r Again’, ‘Q***r China UK’ and drag queen Naya whom organised the recent Liverpool in solidarity with Josh Ormrod.

‘For too long we have seen black and people of colour communities being decimated, hurt, in pain and in poverty. Hate crime against us is rising because of inequity. Now is the time where we stand up, shoulders to shoulders, side by side in solidarity with one and another. An injury to one is an injury to all.’ Stacy Martin, UK Black Pride
