Great to see the Chaucer Labour Team out doorstep knocking, listening and speaking with residents at Aylesford House. πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ’ͺ🏾

Engaging directly with residents and hearing their concerns is at the heart of strong community representation.

Listening to residents about the benefits the Cost of Living Fund provides in Chaucer. It's inspiring to hear how this support is making a real difference in people's lives.

Yesterday at
Chaucer speaking with members of the community.
People asked for more green spaces and outdoor fitness facilities, and it's good to see those conversations turning into something real. We're still listening and working with the community on what matters to
them.
Your voice matters.
Your vote matters.
I am Saidat Oketunde, standing as your local councillor candidate on the 7th May to bring real change.

Our Chaucer Team spent their Saturday afternoon (20/05/23) speaking to residents in Newall House, Devonshire House, Bath Terrace & Bath House.

We reminded residents to participate in the Harper Road consultation which includes proposals to widen the footpath.

πŸ«‚ Our March Ward Forum meeting focused on how residents can stand up for their local community. Residents, Chaucer Councillors and Council Officers came together to discuss the process when a developer submits a planning application and what residents can do to ensure their community is protected, invested and supported. 🏒

Your Chaucer Labour councillors were out talking to residents on the Haddonhall Estate last weekend, sharing information on support available to help with the cost of living.

We also took the opportunity to pop into Peveril Gardens, a wonderful public space which we helped to fund alongside the Mayor of London, through our local Cleaner, Greener, Safer grant. Why not pop in and have a look!
