En la tarde-noche de hoy viernes 10 de marzo de 2017 se celebró en el Edificio de Usos Múltiples de Bañaderos el TALLER MINI KOKEDAMAS CON FIBRAS VEGETALES".
Bajo la enseñanzas de la monitora Rita Rodríguez Sosa, se aprendieron los conceptos básicos de esta antigua técnica japonesa, en realidad kokedama significa en japonés bola de musgo (koke = musgo y dama = bola). Está técnica tiene ciertas similitudes con los bonsais, ya que ambas técnicas retienen las plantas en una pequeña porción de tierra pero los cuidados de las kokedamas son mucho más sencillos. Nosotr@s utilizamos fibras vegetales (hilo de pita, algodón y fibra de coco) para no utilizar musgo, y hacerlo más sostenible.
Cada alumn@ participantes trajo plantas y se produjo un intercambio entre ell@s, y tras algo más de dos horas de trabajo cada un@ de ell@s se llevó al menos tres kokedamas para sus casas.
Buena experiencia, actividad bien valorada y buen sabor de boca entre participantes. Habrá que volver a repetirlo...
Actividad organizada por la Asociación de Mujeres MARESÍA y La Vinca Ecologistas en Acción, con moyivo del Día de las Mujeres 2017. Se contó con la colaboración de la Concejalía de Medio Ambiente del Ayuntamiento de Arucas y la empresa Jardinería y Huertos Rita Rodríguez Sosa.
