Gabriel Jesus on the win: “It was amazing. From the start, we showed what we wanted to do in the game, play like always & try to create the chances & to finish & to score. That’s what I believe we did & that’s the most important thing for us, to win the games.”
Gabriel Jesus on Xhaka’s assist: “He found me! He jokes sometimes he wants to improve his assists & then he gives me a lot of balls, I’m so happy to play with him. He’s intelligent & a quality player as well. A great ball, a great cross & I can head it to the net, so I’m happy!”

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta insists he is more interested in playing mind games with his players than Spurs counterpart Antonio Conte.
“I don’t know [if we are favourites],” said Arteta. “That is a question for [Conte]. But what we want to do is very clear and the perception of what people think is not going to change it.”
Asked if he was a manager who wants to engage in mind games, Arteta replied: “I do it more with my players, I think.
“I do it more with the players, if I have to, to get what I want from them. No [I can’t tell you how I do it], because they will know what they are doing and that is the whole point!”

Having only turned 18 in January, Brooke Norton-Cuffy’s loan to Lincoln City was viewed as a chance to accelerate his progress
He has done that and returned with another solid performance vs Charlton
Brooke Norton-Cuffy may not have time to continue his late-night runs over Tower Bridge from the first lockdown, but his progress has remained on an upward trajectory during his loan to Lincoln City.
Having just turned 18 in January, initially a loan was viewed as more realistic next season, but the League One side presented an opportunity to accelerate his progress this term and he has grabbed it with both hands.
Since the move, the right-back has made 14 senior appearances, with six league games still to play. Alongside that, he has risen from the England Under-18s to the Under-19s, helping the latter qualify for European Championship in the most recent international break.
Returning to Michael Appleton’s starting XI away at Charlton Athletic, he helped secure a 2-1 win that put Lincoln City a step closer to survival with a mature display beyond his tender age. The main aspect of Norton-Cuffy’s performance that stood out was his composure. At The Valley, it was his ability to progress the ball with his left foot from right-back that caught the eye. He did so three times in the first 15 minutes, two of which ended with Lincoln attacks reaching the final third.
“He puts the work in every single day,” Lincoln City manager Michael Appleton said post-match. “We work a lot on putting it around the corner with a weaker foot.
Had thought about Djed Spence but i think Brooke is from the same production Line with exactly similar qualities but younger. We might do with Cedric for another year as we Loan BNC to Championship
Remember this kid played U23 football for AFC when he was 15 years old. shows you how highly he's rated and how much the club thinks he's the one so they tryna accelerate his development.

Ian Wright: "The culture change that Mikel Arteta has tried to make happen at the club is happening now," he said on CBS Sports' Que Golazo podcast. "All we need now is consistency from the guys. I thought sixth place would have been perfect for us.
"If we finished fourth, we'd have overachieved but then that might help us get more money from the owner to buy even more players, more experienced players, so we can stay amongst [the best teams]. You don't want to get around the top four and next season you're back in and around seventh and eighth. You want to stay there. That's what Mikel wants to do.

Rangnick said Man United can learn from Arsenal:
“If you look at Arsenal, for example, they have not played in the Champions League for a couple of years and they’ve drawn the right conclusions at the club and this is possible.”
I ALWAYS believe that the first solution to solving a problem, is accepting you have one.
That's what Arsenal finally did, after trying to cut corners in 2018.
United fans and their Legends think they're big and that does everything for them
