Lib Dems feather their own nest by voting to increase their own councillor allowances
💴 Following the local elections, the first act of Ealing’s Liberal Democrat councillors was to put forward an amendment seeking to increase the Lib Dems taxpayer funded Special Responsibility Allowances. Labour and the Greens failed to challenge this, and it passed.
🌳 Only the Conservatives opposed this and can be trusted to be careful with your money.

The Ealing Conservatives are delighted to announce that Sally Gorman has been selected as the Conservative candidate for the North Acton by-election.
This by-election has been triggered by the newly-elected Green Party councillor quitting days after the local elections. This is costing you, the taxpayers tens of thousands of pounds.
Sally, who has lived in the area for thirty years, is standing to put North Acton residents’ priorities first: a safer, cleaner and more prosperous Acton.
✅ On 7th May, voters kicked out Labour from North Greenford, who had held the seats for more than 30 years and elected Conservative Councillors to replace them.
💪 The Conservatives can beat Labour locally.
🥀 The choice isn’t just between Keir Starmer’s failing Labour Council and the dangerous Greens who want higher taxes, legalisation of all drugs and who are weak on crime.
🌳 This by-election is about who will be a vocal and effective voice for Acton on the Council. Sally will stand up and be that voice. It is time for change in Acton.

Ealing Labour propping up Starmer
Hot on the heels of Ealing Southall MP, Deirdre Costigan, becoming a government whip, long-time Starmer ally and Ealing North MP, James Murray, has become Health Secretary.
Let us be clear, this is Ealing Labour propping up a failing Prime Minister and a failing government.
While Labour play games, the Conservatives will work hard to create a better borough for all of us.

Labour chaos
Ealing Southall MP, Deirdre Costigan, has decided to prop up Starmer in the face of a Labour civil war. She and Ealing North MP James Murray are proof that supporting Ealing Labour means supporting Starmer.
The Conservatives will continue to fight for a safer, cleaner and business friendly borough

Thank you from the Ealing Conservatives
We would like to thank all who voted for our candidates in this election.
We entered the election with four councillors and left with five. For the first time in 16 years, Labour’s majority has shrunk.
We send our huge congratulations to Flora, Kris, and Ajay who won all three seats in North Greenford. The ward had been solely Labour-held for 30 years.
We also congratulate Julian Gallant for his re-election and Sean Hanrahan for his election to Ealing Broadway.
We also want to congratulate our candidates across Ealing who proved that the Conservatives are the real opposition in Labour wards including Pitshanger, where we came within 100 votes of taking a seat.
But the night had a tinge of sadness. Our long-serving councillor, Seema Kumar, was pipped to the post in Ealing Broadway by 17 votes.
We will fight to regain our third seat in Ealing Broadway. This begins today.
We also said ‘farewell’ to Fabio Conti and Anthony Young, both of whom stepped down at this election. Anthony was a councillor for 48 years, and we thank him for his near half century of service.
Our councillors are having a much-needed rest after this campaign. But the work will begin anew to be a strong, conservative voice in Ealing Council.
We want to make Ealing the ‘Queen of the Suburbs’ again, and our work begins now.
Thank you for all your support.
