✨ ADHD Mums Connect is at the Upper Norwood Library Hub next Tuesday 2 June at 7:15pm - a monthly meet-up for mums with ADHD and AuDHD (formal diagnosis not necessary) to come together, connect, and unmask in a supportive, non-judgemental space.
This group offers a chance to talk openly about the realities of parenting while living with neurodivergence, share experiences, and support one another – whether that’s swapping resources, offering reassurance, or simply feeling a bit more seen. Many attendees are still on their diagnostic journey, and all are welcome wherever you are on that path.
Babes in arms are welcome, and there’s a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with space to just show up as you are. It’s also a great opportunity to meet others who truly understand the day-to-day challenges and strengths of neurodivergent parenting.

Looking back at our Creative Communities project, which brought together local residents, artists, and partners to explore what positive change looks like across the themes of equity, environment, and wellbeing.
Through workshops, storytelling, collage, photography, and conversation, over 100 local people shared their ideas and experiences - turning them into creative works that reflect their hopes for the future.
Led by artists and supported by community partners, the project shows what happens when people are given the space and tools to imagine change together.
Libraries can be more than spaces for learning - they can be places where communities create, express, and shape what comes next.

We partnered with the Library of Things team last week, kicking off the series of community sessions funded by the The National Lottery Community Fund Reaching Communities Fund to engage people who may not yet know about the circular economy 🌍
The workshop explored how the Library of Things could reach new audiences who may not have previously considered using the service. It provided a welcoming and inclusive space to share experiences, highlight challenges, and identify practical ways to make the service more accessible for everyone.
Participants explored their relationship to ‘things’, discussed barriers to access, contributed ideas for creating a more equitable community resource, and connected with others committed to improving access for all.
We’ll be building an annual series of workshops across the coming years with communities to ensure everyone can access sustainability initiatives with the aim of rolling the sessions out in other locations across London with the Library of Things team.
If you haven't used the Library of Things before and would like to join one of our future workshops, find out more via the link in the comments 💬
