On June 8, the official opening ceremony of the direct Wizz Air flight between London Luton Airport and Zvartnots Yerevan took place at London Luton Airport, marking an important milestone in strengthening connectivity between Armenia and the United Kingdom.

In his remarks, Ambassador Nersesyan welcomed the launch of the direct route, emphasising its significance for deepening Armenia–UK relations. The Ambassador noted that the new connection would not only make travel between the two countries more accessible, but would also contribute to the further development of tourism, business links, educational exchanges, and cultural cooperation.

Ambassador Nersesyan underlined that direct air connectivity plays an important role in strengthening people-to-people contacts, bringing the Armenian and British peoples closer together and creating new opportunities for cooperation across different sectors. He also highlighted the importance of the route for the Armenian community in the United Kingdom, providing a more convenient link with Armenia and helping to maintain close ties with their homeland.

Հունիսի 8-ին Լոնդոնի «Լուտոն» օդանավակայանում տեղի է ունեցել Լոնդոն Լուտոն և Երևանի «Զվարթնոց» օդանավակայանների միջև Wizz Air ավիաընկերության ուղիղ չվերթի պաշտոնական բացման արարողությունը, ինչը նշանակալի հանգրվան է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Միացյալ Թագավորության միջև կապերի ամրապնդման գործում:

Իր ելույթում դեսպան Ներսեսյանը ողջունել է ուղիղ չվերթի մեկնարկը՝ ընդգծելով դրա կարևորությունը ՀՀ-ՄԹ հարաբերությունների խորացման տեսանկյունից: Դեսպանը նշել է, որ նոր տրանսպորտային կապը ոչ միայն առավել հասանելի կդարձնի երկու երկրների միջև ճանապարհորդությունը, այլև կնպաստի զբոսաշրջության, գործարար կապերի, կրթական փոխանակումների և մշակութային համագործակցության հետագա զարգացմանը:

Դեսպան Ներսեսյանն ընդգծել է, որ ուղիղ օդային հաղորդակցությունն առանցքային դեր է խաղում միջանձնային շփումների ամրապնդման գործում՝ մոտեցնելով հայ և բրիտանացի ժողովուրդներին և նոր հնարավորություններ ստեղծելով տարբեր ոլորտներում փոխգործակցության համար: Նա նաև կարևորել է այս չվերթի նշանակությունը ՄԹ հայ համայնքի համար՝ ապահովելով առավել հարմարավետ կապ Հայաստանի հետ և նպաստելով հայրենիքի հետ սերտ կապերի պահպանմանը:

On May 12th, within the framework of the working visit to London of the delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia, led by the President of the Constitutional Court, Mr. Arman Dilanyan, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia hosted a small reception in honour of the visiting delegation.

In his remarks, Ambassador H.E. Varuzhan Nersesyan welcomed the delegation to London and underscored the importance of strengthening institutional dialogue and legal cooperation between Armenia and the United Kingdom. The Ambassador highlighted the vital role of constitutional institutions in upholding democratic governance, the rule of law, and the independence of the judiciary.
