2020 brings not just a new year, but also a new decade - and the fight is already on to keep London Labour. Are you with us?

Here in Tooting the campaign has begun to keep Sadiq as our Mayor of London and Leonie as our local Assembly Member for Merton and Wandsworth. Here’s how you can get involved:

Come out on the doorstep in Furzedown between 2-4pm, on Sunday 16 February. Both Sadiq and Leonie live in Furzedown, come and talk to their neighbours. Meet outside the Furzedown Pub (buses 57 or 133).

Join us on Monday 17 February from 6.30pm outside Tooting Bec and Tooting Broadway tube stations to hand out leaflets on Sadiq’s air quality pledges.

Tooting CLP has chosen to nominate Lisa Nandy as Leader of the Labour Party, and our fantastic MP Dr. Rosena Allin-Khan as Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.

Jennifer Davis was nominated as BAME NEC rep and Johanna Baxter was nominated as CLP rep.

Two people have been murdered in Tooting recently. Today, I joined a cross-party group of MPs in a summit hosted by Sadiq Khan to tackle violent crime.
