A landmark moment!
With the now in force, a new chapter begins in one of India's most important partnerships in the Gulf. Covering over 99% of bilateral trade value with zero-duty access, the agreement lays the foundation for a stronger, more dynamic and future-ready economic partnership, unlocking opportunities for trade, investment, innovation and growth. The CEPA will deliver tangible gains across key sectors of the economy—from duty-free access for Indian agricultural, marine and pharmaceutical products to enhanced mobility for professionals and service providers. It will create new opportunities for exporters, businesses, MSMEs and skilled talent, while strengthening value chains and deepening people-to-people and commercial ties.
