He takes over from WO2 Woods who has served in the BSM role for the past 4 years to great effect and remains within the Bty as the Operations Warrant Officer.

Congratulations to Lbdr King (265 Bty 106 Yeomanry Regiment Royal Artillery) who was recognised for her efforts to support Defences People Agenda whilst in her role as the Lady Mayoress of the City of London in 2025.
She was deserving presented with a special award by Greater London Reserve Forces' & Cadets' Association and the Lord Lt of London.
Bdr Thompson was also recommended for GLRFCA Reservist of the year due to his efforts in recruiting and work in the local community. He lost out to two very worthy candidates, but was commended by the judging panel.

Someone very special visited 7th Air Defence Group on Thursday.
Army Reservists from across the Regt were on Thorney Island, joining their regular counterparts to demonstrate their Air Defence and Counter UAS capabilities to the King.
